Abstract: Summary. This study evaluated the extent of support the program of activities, structural organization and facilities and materials of Holy Spirit School Tagbilaran, Bohol have to the building of BEC contributed to the growth of the individual person, the school community and the parish. It also sought, to find the significant differences among the respondents’ perceptions. The descriptive survey method was used with the questionnaire as the primary data- gathering tool. Weighted mean scores, Analysis of Variance and Tukey method were applied to answer the questions. The respondents of the study were 137 third year students, 114 fourth year students and 53 faculty members of school year 1996 - 1997. Findings. The three respondent groups, i.e. the faculty, the third year and the fourth year students, perceived the school program of activities, structural organization and facilities and materials strongly supportive to the building of BEC. They too perceived their BEC as strongly contributing to their growth as individual person, school community and parish. In their perceptions, significant differences were found. The faculty gave more favorable perceptions on the strong support given by the program of activities and structural organization as well as the strong contribution of the BEC program to individual person and to the school community compared to the students. Conclusions. The building of BEC in Holy Spirit School of Tagbilaran is very much facilitated by the strong support given through the school program of activities, structural organization and facilities and materials. The school BEC is favorably looked upon by the respondent groups as helping very much the growth of the individual person, the school community and the parish. However, the linkage of the school BEC program with the parish needs more strengthening Recommendations. In the light of the findings, the administrator and faculty of the Holy Spirit School, Tagbilaran , Bohol are to continue the BEC orientation to all new comers; provide BEC on-going formation program for all members; strengthen. the exposure and outreach programs; articulate and strengthen the linkages with the parish, civic organizations as well as officials and personnel of the municipal and barangay units in the area; and that all members of the school community are to live out the formative processes which are experiential, dialogical, participative and integrative as well as the holistic processes in their day to day living.
